Twenty identical turkeys drying on the counter. Pre-cut snowmen, three cotton balls each. 🦃⛄

If holiday art in your classroom has started to feel more like an assembly line than an experience, you’re not alone, and there’s another way.

The Child’s Way Is Enough: Turning Off the Craft Conveyor Belt This Holiday Season is a free 3-part workshop for early childhood educators working with infants through kindergarten.

📅 Day 1: Stepping off the craft conveyor belt. Why cookie-cutter crafts miss what children need, and what child-led art really looks like.
📅 Day 2: Making room for the child’s way. Holiday process experiences by age, plus swaps for the crafts you already do.
📅 Day 3: Bringing everyone along. Word-for-word scripts for families, coworkers, and directors.

🗓 Airs November 2–4 at 12pm ET
💻 Watch FREE as it airs
⭐ Want to keep it? Lifetime access, the Holiday Starter Guide, and a PD certificate are $35 (early bird, through Nov 4)
🏫 WeSkoolhouse members watch anytime, free

WHAT IF WE JUST… TRIED SOMETHING NEW 💙 In 1993, Denmark made EMPATHY a required school subject. Today, it has the lowest bullying rate and the highest happiness rate in the world!

Once a week, teachers dedicate an hour of class time to practicing kindness, discussing personal or academic challenges, and building emotional awareness.

The goal isn't just to promote good behavior — it's to train the brain.

Neuroscientific research has shown that practicing empathy strengthens the medial prefrontal cortex (the part of the brain responsible for emotional regulation and perspective-taking).

SIMPLY PUT: Danish children are being neurologically wired to understand and support others.

Long-term studies also show that children who learn empathy early are more likely to graduate, hold stable jobs, and maintain strong relationships later in life 🥰
