The Liberal Studies Program offers two avenues for completion:

The Integrated Teacher Education Program (ITEP) is for students intending to become teachers who wish to combine subject matter preparation for elementary teaching with coursework leading to a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Graduates of this program earn a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a California Level I Multiple S

ubject Teaching Credential (K-8). Track I is for students who seek subject matter preparation for careers in elementary education. Graduates of this program earn a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and may apply to a credential program at a later time. Students in the Track I program have the opportunity to complete a concentration in a selected area of study.
