Hospitality Management is offered as a Bachelor of Science degree at California State University, Long Beach. It is designed to prepare students with the necessary background and expertise to excel as managers and leaders in various segments of the hospitality industry including restaurants, foodservices, hotels and lodging facilities. The program provides a broad-based foundation in both academic and professional courses and includes hands-on practical experience.

What an incredible experience our inaugural Cruise Ship Management Study Abroad course was this summer!!

A HUGE thank you to Carnival Cruise Line for being such a tremendous partner in our students’ learning journey. Through an immersive week aboard the Carnival Panorama, our students had the unique opportunity to explore the cruise industry from the inside out.

From an exclusive bridge tour with the Captain to behind-the-scenes access to entertainment operations, guest services, and galley tours, every experience brought the classroom concepts to life. One of the highlights was a special guest speaker session featuring department leaders from across the ship, who generously shared their expertise, career journeys, and insights into the complexities of cruise operations!

This experience provided our students with an unparalleled look at the hospitality and tourism industry while helping them build meaningful professional connections, gain real-world knowledge, and create memories that will last forever.

What a fun afternoon hosting the Hospitality Pathway students at Browning High School!

We got to share all about our program with them, take a tour of campus, and enjoy lunch in the dining hall. To think that these students will graduate from high school with a diploma and an associate's degree is just incredible. Hoping to have many of them join us in the coming years!
