Mission:
Fatima Hasan:
I plan to decrease disparity in student representation by ensuring that all student voices are heard. As a Food and Dietetics major, I will work to educate you about various resources on campus and bring the job opportunities and the facility improvements that we all deserve. My objectives are:
• Establish a student majority ad-hoc committee to address issues within
the FCS department that would lead to long term improvement
• Strengthening the lobbying sub-committee of ASI (Lobby Corps) by encouraging student involvement.
• Develop accommodations to aid homeless students by developing a food pantry program.
• Demystifying ASI and creating events to encourage student participation and involvement.
• Improving facility design with regards to water dispensing stations, and accessibility for disabled students.
• Increasing awareness of committees on campus that directly relate to curriculum policies, major requirement etc. I will strive to represent students the best of my abilities and improve student life as a whole. I have experience as a leader in ASI, MSA, SDA, along with many more. If given a chance to represent you I will ensure that everyone’s voice is heard.
