In honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Campus Life is hosting an activity on Wednesday, January 23rd. Join Professor Michelle Payne as she discusses what has motivated her to get involved with initiatives that promote equality, prompts will then be provided to students with the intent to foster an open dialogue about the current state of equality and what students can do to contribute to progress. Afterwards, students will write their intention for this year on a fabric swatch which they will decorate. The swatches will be sewn together to create a frame around an enlarged photo of Dr. King. The finished project will be displayed on campus. Light refreshments will be served.
