Running Start is a WA State partnership between community & technical colleges and local high schools

Running Start is a statewide partnership between community and technical colleges and local high schools. Running Start is a program that allows 11th and 12th-grade students to take college courses at Washington's 34 community and technical colleges, including Lower Columbia College. Students earn both high school and college credits for these courses. Lower Columbia College does not discriminate

Sunday, August 16th, is the last day to withdraw from a Summer quarter class. After the 16th, you will not be able to withdraw from a Summer quarter class.

Running Start students must submit an add/drop form located on the LCC website, the RS Canvas group, or by contacting an RS advisor.

Next Thursday, July 16th, is the last day to drop a summer quarter class without receiving a "W" on your transcript.
August 16th is the last day to withdraw from a summer quarter class and receive a "W" on your transcript.
After August 16th, you cannot drop a summer quarter class.

Running start students must submit an add/drop form located in their RS canvas group or on the LCC Running Start website.

LCC summer hours have begun! Please note that LCC is closed on Fridays throughout the summer. We will be open from 8am-5pm on Monday through Thursday until September.
