1979: Donna Summer, ABBA, Earth, Wind & Fire. Michael Jackson. 1979 summed up the eclectic mix of style and culture across the country. The turn of the decade ushered LMU into a new era of style too!

The Class of 1979 is celebrating their 45th milestone reunion on Saturday, June 8.

1974: The year Barbara Streisand hit the top of the charts with "The Way We Were"; Elton John’s “Bennie and the Jets” soon followed. Denim bell bottoms were still in-style, and no one could say otherwise. 1974 was also the year LMU celebrated its first graduating class since the Loyola University and Marymount College merger.
