Last night, brothers from Los Angeles Harbor Masonic Lodge #332 had the privilege of visiting Angels Gate Lodge in Lomita for Officer School of Instruction (OSI).

We received strong, thoughtful training covering the First and Third Degrees, reinforcing the importance of ritual, leadership development, and doing the work the right way—together.

Grateful for the warm welcome, the shared knowledge, and the reminder that Freemasonry grows strongest when lodges support one another across districts.

Sometimes brotherhood shows up loud.
Sometimes it shows up quiet, steady, and exactly when it’s needed.

This week, our brothers came together to share a sweet-and-sour goodbye—celebrating a new chapter for one of our brother’s ladies as she steps away to take care of family. It’s a bittersweet moment, but one filled with love, support, and reassurance that no one walks alone.

Good food. Honest conversations. Shared memories.
Moments like these remind us that a lodge isn’t just meetings and events—it’s people showing up for one another through change, transition, and growth.

Todd steps into the East with a leadership style defined by clarity, consistency, and service. With decades of professional experience in communication, organizational leadership, and team development—and a lifelong commitment to volunteerism—he brings a steady hand to the helm at a time when purpose, unity, and follow-through matter more than ever.

This year marks not just a change in leadership, but a renewed commitment to doing the work—strengthening our Lodge, supporting our Brothers, and remaining active in the community we proudly serve. Todd’s passion for mentorship, service, and community engagement reflects the values this Lodge was built on and continues to uphold.

Todd Heiss was installed as Worshipful Master of LA Harbor Masonic Lodge #332 on January 10. Todd Heiss has been a Master Mason for nearly 35 years. Masonry has been a family affair for Todd. He has cousins, uncles, and his own father as members and past masters of LA Harbor Lodge. Heiss shared that his biggest influence, not only in Freemasonry but in life in general, is his father Phil Heiss, a past master of the lodge. Todd is a Mason’s Mason. “I still consider myself a servant to the brothers and to the fraternity,” said Heiss.

Join us at Los Angeles Harbor Masonic Lodge #332 as we welcome the New Year together with an unforgettable New Year’s Eve Celebration in the Harbor Area!
