Wishing you and yours a blessed Triduum and Happy Easter! Our offices will close today at 2 p.m. and reopen Monday at 8 a.m.

“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.” John 13:34

This verse proclaimed at the reading of the Gospel at this evening’s Mass of the Lord’s Supper captures the spirit of the season that is upon us. For many, this holiday weekend will be the first time we have gathered in person for the Pascal Triduum since the start of the pandemic. Undoubtably there will be some whom we once knew missing from the pews. Others may be present, but worn down by grief and hardship. So as we come together in the days ahead, days of prayer that offer opportunity for reflection and renewal, let us recall Jesus’ simplest and most significant teaching – to love one another – authentically and without distinction.

As we look forward to the miracle of the resurrection, may the love of the living God be with you and yours. All of us at the LMU Center for Religion and Spirituality wish you a blessed Triduum and Happy Easter!
