For more than four decades, Bob Mackie has held a very special place in the history of Otis Fashion Design 🤍
Beginning in 1983, Bob generously shared his extraordinary talent, experience and creative vision with our students through 15 mentor projects, leaving an impact that extends far beyond the runway.
Through sketches, fittings, critiques, conversations and unforgettable collections, he gave generations of young designers the rare opportunity to learn directly from one of fashion’s great creative voices. But what we cherish most is the generosity with which he gave his time, encouragement and belief in our students.
His continued support of our program helped nurture emerging talent and created memories that remain part of Otis Fashion Design today.
Bob, thank you for believing in our students, for inspiring them to dream bigger, and for being such an extraordinary friend and supporter of our program. Your legacy at Otis is woven through generations of designers 🤍
