Congratulations to third-year PhD student Bhavatharini Arun, who received the 2026-27 Charles and Charlotte Krown Fellowship, the top honor awarded to a graduate student at the USC Mann School! 🎉

The honor builds on international recognition Arun received earlier this year through the Lewis B. Sheiner Student Session, an invited talk given at the 34th PAGE Meeting in Dubrovnik, Croatia.

What does summer look like for a USC Mann undergraduate?

In summer 2026, students gained hands-on experience through internships in global oncology, portfolio strategy, regulatory affairs, data analytics, community pharmacy and more.

They worked with Pfizer Inc., J&J Innovative Medicine, Agilent Technologies, MannKind, Genetix Biotherapeutics, Hikal Ltd., 986 Pharmacy and more — and several are continuing their work with these companies this fall.
