On September 9, UCLA Alumni France Network hosted a special gathering in Paris with Dean Celine Parreñas Shimizu of the UCLA School of Theater, Film and Television (TFT). It was a wonderful opportunity for Bruins in France to connect, strengthen their UCLA community, and engage with Dean Shimizu.

For Clayton Frech, his story of support is more than a mission statement. It's a way of life.

Fueled by his experience as the father of a congenital amputee, , and his advocacy through , Clayton is on a mission: competition should be within reach for everyone, regardless of ability or financial status.

Angel City Games is proof. .Frech is building something bigger than a sporting event. He's building a movement, with the support of partners like , who share his belief that adaptive athletes deserve every opportunity to compete, excel, and inspire.
