Qori, whose name means “gold” in Quechua, is a young girl born in the United States to Peruvian parents. During a visit to her grandmother in Peru, she embarks on a magical journey through Peru’s coast, highlands, and rainforest, where dance, music, and tradition reveal the history and spirit of her heritage.

Qori in the Land of the Sun is a heartwarming story for the whole family that celebrates the beauty of Peruvian culture and reminds us that our greatest treasure is our identity.
