UniCamp operates as an independently funded non-profit organization linking the University with the community. Each year, UniCamp inspires nearly 1,000 children from low-income families to envision brighter futures by sending them, along with 500 student volunteers, to its residential outdoor summer camp.

🏕️ 𝗔𝗟𝗟-𝗖𝗔𝗠𝗣 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 🏕️

All six of our sessions joined us for a volunteer retreat at Lake Perris! We played games, sang songs, chilled by the lake, and sat around the campfire this past weekend. Much Woodsey Love 🫶🏼

At the beginning of volunteering training, we got all 6 sessions together to participate in our All-Camp Campstravaganza 🤸🏻 A huge shoutout to UniCabinet and staff for putting together our first ever campstravaganza and gave volunteers the space get to know their sessions better through fun games and activities.

Now, we’re in Spring Quarter reaching the halfway point in our trainings! Much Woodsey Love to all our volunteers who have been training with us and have joined us on this UniCamp journey so far 🫶🏼

This past weekend, our camp director, Blitzen, led a fantastic wilderness first aid training for our WALL advisors and Mr. Woooo! These advisors are certified in WFA and are ready to take their campers on adventures this summer 🏔️⛺️🌲⛑️
