Cast reunion with the crew behind USC Gould School of Law's latest ExecEd course: Dealmaking for Entertainment Professionals! 🎬

Lead instructor Kimberlina McKinney, course contributors Baron Ojogho and Ke'Andra Levingston, and contributing experts recently met in person for the first time after bringing their entertainment industry experience to USC Gould's program.

Huge thanks to all who contributed to the course, including: Dani Wassel, Mark Mazie, Elizabeth Zee, Lauren Partipilo, Andrea Meigs, John Meigs, Jaime Rodriguez, and others!

Driven by a lifelong desire to help others navigate conflict and access justice, Sarha Rasheed (LLM 2017) found her calling in alternative dispute resolution after earning her Master of Laws ( ) at USC Gould School of Law. Inspired by courses in international arbitration and dispute resolution, she returned home to help build capacity in an emerging legal system, co-founding an ADR center, training legal professionals, and advancing mediation reform.

Announced this week, USC Gould's new International Law and Human Rights certificate will launch in Fall 2026 as an initiative of the Donna and Spencer Gilbert Global Justice & Human Rights Center.

Available to JD and LLM students, as well as through a standalone on-campus option, the certificate offers coursework in international law, human rights, global legal systems and enforcement mechanisms, while building practical lawyering skills.
