Unveiled in April of Spring 2024, the nation's one-of-a-kind game show curriculum has officially launched under Cal State LA- Television Film and Media Studies , inviting it's first set of students into the classroom.

"Bob Boden and Harry Friedman created the curriculum. Boden is the co-founder of the National Archives of Game Show History. Friedman spent years as the executive producer of both 'Wheel of Fortune' and 'Jeopardy!'" – George Pennacchio, ABC 7

From conception to development and hosting to lighting, students have embarked on an enriching journey of learning everything that has to do with creating a good game show. We can't wait to see what our awesome ideas our students come up with!

"Back to Basics" at the Ronald H. Silverman Fine Arts Gallery

Dive into the world of simple forms and the profound use of color with this incredible exhibition showcasing a diverse international roster of contemporary artists. Explore the evolution of geometric abstraction from the 1960s to today, featuring 51 stunning works from legends like Josef Albers, Ellsworth Kelly, and Anish Kapoor, to the fresh perspectives of Tim Bavington, Isaac Brest, and more.

Discover how 'less' can be 'more' as these artists use basic shapes, powerful colors, and essential forms to convey deep meaning and explore human experience. From Albers' "Homage to the Square" to Kapoor's transcendent "Blood Mirror III," each piece offers a unique journey into the timeless power of simplicity.

Join us in celebrating over half a century of artistry that continues to redefine our perception of form, color, and light. As Paul Klee once said, β€œArt does not reproduce the visible; rather, it makes it visible.” Come see how these remarkable artists make the invisible, visible. 🌟
