The Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity was established at Richmond College in Virginia on November 1, 1901. The fraternity was founded on three principles: Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love. Sigma Phi Epsilon is currently represented on over 250 college campuses with an enrollment of more than 14,000 men, making it the largest fraternity in the nation in regards to undergraduate enrollment. Loyola Marymount University was colonized in 1996 and chartered in 1997. We pride ourselves on our use of the Balanced Man Program, a program that instead of the pledge process emphasizes a lifestyle based on the three principles of virtue, diligence, and brotherly love as well as the four pillars of the balanced man: Scholar, Gentleman, Leader, and Athlete.
