We do not want you to “just take GE’s” before you transfer.  We want you to be ready for your engineering or computer science curriculum at USC and be making progress toward your USC degree.  Honestly, it’s more straightforward than you think. Turns out, some of the best college memories happen in the library! For Rianna Islam (Industrial and Systems Engineering ‘29), one of her favorite USC memories is spending the day studying for finals with her friends in Leavey Library.

No classes, nowhere else to be, just good friends, good study sessions, and a lot of snacks! For Rianna, a full day of studying at USC became one of those unexpectedly fun college memories that made finals season a little more enjoyable. From grabbing food at the dining hall to taking study breaks for snacks and energy drinks, having a great group of friends can make any day at USC feel memorable. It’s a glimpse of the everyday student life that happens between engineering classes, where friendships and shared experiences become some of the best parts of college.
