Our April Leading Women of the Month are seniors Claire Monro and Claire Fisher! They’re an iconic duo—inseparable since they met in Switzerland as freshmen—so it’s only fitting that they’ve stuck together during this difficult time. As business majors, they refused to let the last two months of their senior year go to waste, and have used their entrepreneurial mindset to help local businesses in need. They created t-shirt designs to sell through an online fundraising platform, and will soon be selling them at the USC bookstore. All proceeds go directly to helping the businesses that USC students know and love stay open, including El Huero, Caveman Kitchen, and more. Theta is so proud of Claire & Claire for making their final months at USC count, and exhibiting the true spirit of our community: Fighting On. Click the link in their bios to learn more about their inspiring project❤️ @ BLUE HOUSE

This Thursday, Kappa Alpha Theta Omicron will be having our annual fall philanthropy event, Theta Late Night. Theta Late Night is an event for all USC students to come to our parking lot for an all-you-can-eat food event with local vendors and food trucks. There will be a wide range of foods available from In N Out, Dominos, a nacho bar, made-to-order donuts as well as giant games for students to come and play! This country-themed event is a great opportunity for the entire USC community to come together for a good cause.

All proceeds will directly go to our philanthropy, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), as well as the Theta Foundation.

It is that time of year again! Kat at Bat is here! During KAT at Bat, our lovely Thetas are captains for fraternities and other student organizations that battle it out in a daylong whiffle ball tournament. We also sell our popular KAT at Bat shirts before and during the event. This weeklong fundraiser is filled with events to get the fraternities excited and ready to battle for the 2019 Kat at Bat champs!

Our chapter holds a strong passion for our philanthropies: Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)and Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation. Through CASA, we fund programs that recruit, train and support
volunteers who represent the best interests of children in the foster care system. Our support for the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation helps provide scholarships and leadership education to the bright, young women of Theta. We are able to help these two incredible causes through our annual spring philanthropy event, KAT at Bat!

None of this would be possible without your always-appreciated support. Last year, we raised $26,000,
and with your help, we hope to raise $28,000 at this year’s event! As we get ready for KAT at Bat 2019 on March 23rd, we hope you can help us do our best for the children of CASA and the Theta Foundation.
