The University Student Union (USU) at California State University, Northridge is a student centered non-profit organization that works to expand the college experience through various programs, services, employment, and involvement opportunities. Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month with a relaxing tea party ☕️ that also provides opportunities to reflect on mental health awareness. 💆‍♀️ Enjoy delightful afternoon teas and snacks, while getting to know the vibrant Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) communities on campus. Unwind with soothing music therapy 🎵and even take a stroll in the garden. Get connected to valuable mental health services, while grounding yourself with nurturing tea and friendship. 🫂

Hey Matadors, all are welcome to embark on a healing journey at our Racial Healing Retreat. 🤗

The retreat will feature a keynote session addressing skills for incorporating trauma-informed wellness and decolonial healing practices. Recharge and reflect through a yoga session, body-centric meditations and a sound bath experience. 🧘

Enjoy food and beverages, with a menu inspired by the “decolonize your breakfast” 🍳 movement that honors ancestral foods and culturally rooted nourishment. You can even enter our drawing for a chance to take home some wellness items and giveaways. 😲
