USC Thornton Early Music

On Friday, October 2nd at 8:00 PM the USC Baroque Sinfonia celebrates the 20th Anniversary of Adam Gilbert as Director of the Early Music Program, the Program's 40th Anniversary, and the next 40 years to come. This performance will feature Thornton early music students and alumni performing Florentine music from La Pellegrina, compositions by Chiara Margarita Cozzolani, Claudio Monteverdi, and Adam Gilbert.

Join us as we thank our students, alumni, faculty, donors, and community for their support over these many years, and help us celebrate the vibrant future of our USC Early Music Program!

A reception will follow the performance.

This week we're kicking off the fall with our first Early Music recital of the semester AND Baroque Sinfonia's first performance of the academic year!

Erin Young will be performing her recital this Sunday at 4:00 PM in Newman Recital Hall, joined by Marjana Jocif, Phoebe Rosquist, Cameron Shubert, & Nicole Young!

Then on Friday don't miss our USC Baroque Sinfonia performance celebrating of the 20th anniversary of Adam Gilbert as director of the Early Music Program and the program’s 40th anniversary!
