Hello all, it's a been a while. Miss you all so much!
Thank you Sona Hovsepian Sona for your relentless efforts to communicate with UCLA General Alumni Association for the affiliation and establishment of our own Association.Thank you Gabriyel Mamikonyan and those who have been involved in this process. Let's realize this very important goal together.
I truly wish that more of our very dear former student will get involved in this. We have about 5000 students who have taken one or more of Armenian courses we offer at UCLA since the inception of Narekatsi chair 50 years ago, and we don't have an alumni association? That's not right. Remember our Chair is probably the most important Armenian Studies institution outside of Armenia. In January we'll be celebrating the 50 year anniversary of the Narekatsi Chair with the most fabulous way. Thanks to Melkonian Global Overture and its president Arsine Shirvanian.
