Hi Bruins! This is a friendly reminder that this Friday (04/18/2025) at 11:59 PM PT is the last day to add a course via MyUCLA without a petition! Adding the course before the deadline will result in no fee and no transcript notation. If the course is closed, students can add a course using a PTE number on MyUCLA. Some departments do not issue PTE numbers, so contact the instructor or the course’s department counselor for more information.
Visit College Academic Counseling during REACH Virtual Drop-in Hours (caac.ucla.edu > Contact) if you have any questions!

Hi Bruins, reminder that this Friday (04/11/2025) before 11:59 PM (PT) is the last day to drop impacted courses via MyUCLA without a fee or transcript notation. After this deadline, students will need to submit an Impacted Drop Petition to drop any impacted course and approval is not guaranteed. If you’re unsure whether your class is impacted, you can check by going to registrar.ucla.edu > Registration and Classes > Schedule of Classes > search for your class > open the class description and look under “Enrollment Information.”

An alternative way to check for a full list of all impacted courses is to go to registrar.ucla.edu > Registration and Classes > Enrollment Policies > Enrollment Restrictions > Impacted Courses > View Master List > search for your class, and, if the course is impacted, it will appear on the Master List. Visit College Academic Counseling during REACH Virtual Drop-in Hours (caac.ucla.edu > Contact) or a CAC Peer Counselor station on campus if you have any questions!
