What program are you in?
I’m in the Pre-Licensure Practical Nursing program.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself!
I love the ocean and sunshine, and I’m definitely a “shoe-head” enthusiast! ☀️🌊

What do you love about ATA?
I love that ATA truly feels like a close-knit community. From the moment I walk through the doors, people know me by name and genuinely care about my success. That welcoming and supportive environment makes me feel like I belong. I also really appreciate how well the courses are structured. Everything is consistent, which makes it easier to stay organized and build on what I’ve learned. The combination of a caring community and a well-planned education has made my experience really enjoyable and rewarding.

Why did you want to become a nurse?
My “why” started with my grandmother. I cared for her while she was living with Alzheimer’s disease and diabetes, and that experience taught me so much about compassion, patience, and the importance of quality healthcare. Being there for her during such a vulnerable time showed me the difference that knowledgeable and caring healthcare professionals can make.

That experience inspired me to become a nurse so I can provide that same comfort, dignity, and support to others and their families. Every lesson I learn and every skill I develop brings me one step closer to making a meaningful difference in the lives of my future patients. My grandmother’s strength and the time I shared caring for her continue to motivate me every day. 🧡

We’re so proud of Michelle and the heart she brings to her nursing journey! Her dedication, compassion, and passion for helping others are exactly what make healthcare workers so special. We can’t wait to see all she accomplishes! 🩺✨

These students caught our Campus Director, Ellie, delivering certificates and had a dosage calculation question. Ellie stopped and worked through the problem with them so they could get the support they needed.

Our Medical Assisting students are learning more than just how to put on personal protective equipment. They’re learning when it’s needed, how to use it properly, and why it matters. Proper PPE is an essential part of infection prevention and helps protect both healthcare workers and patients by reducing the risk of exposure and the spread of infection. 🩺✨
