BSA had the immense joy of celebrating the Bengali New Year with our vibrant community this past Sunday at the University of Louisville. It was truly a heartwarming and colorful event filled with music, dance, poetry, delicious food, and endless smiles.

A huge THANK YOU to all the incredible performers who lit up the stage with their talents, the organizers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and everyone who joined us to make this celebration so special. Your presence and energy made the event unforgettable.

A very special thanks to our amazing alumni, Morshedul Alam Bhai and Sujoy Halder bhai, for traveling all the way from Tennessee and Ohio just to be with us. Your love for this community continues to inspire us!

Today we are saying goodbye to our two seniors Rafiqul Islam and Mahmud Parvez bhai ,as they are heading back to Bangladesh for their work. We will surely miss them and hopefully we will meet with them again soon, at the same time we would like to wish them all the happiness and success in their endeavors.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us at BSA UofL's Pitha Uthshob this year! 🙏 The event was a beautiful celebration of our culture, filled with warmth, laughter, and, of course, an incredible array of pitha brought by our talented community members. From chitoi pitha to patishapta—each creation was an absolute delight, showcasing not only flavors but also the love and effort behind each dish. 🥰🍂

Dear BSA Community,

We’re excited to celebrate the rich tradition of Pitha with everyone tomorrow ( 02-11-2024) at our Pitha Uthsob! This year, we’re dedicated to keeping all our events on time, and to achieve this, we need everyone’s cooperation. Let’s make this celebration smooth and enjoyable by starting promptly and sticking to the schedule:

• 5:10 - 5:40 PM: Social Hour – Enjoy mingling and catching up!
• 5:40 PM: Pitha will be served.
• 7:30 PM: Dinner will be served.
• 9:00 PM: Event concludes.
