This semester's invasive species removal event sill be on March 9th from Noon-3pm at the hillside next to Our Lady of the Woods Chapel. Wear sturdy shoes and long pants, we'll provide the rest. Faculty, staff, and students are welcome and encouraged to come and lend a hand, even if you can only attend part of the time. Hope to see you there!

AmeriCorps position with Scientists in the Parks at Mammoth Cave with a May 2026 start date!

This projects will provide parks with scientific data to support sound resource management decisions, benefiting both the Inventory and Monitoring Program and the Science and Natural Resources Program of the National Park Service. These positions will support environmental protection by assisting with the inventory and monitoring of natural resources across multiple park units in the South Atlantic Gulf Region. Responsibilities will include tasks related to monitoring wildlife, vegetation, water quality, and air quality. Applications received before February 15th will be prioritized.

Job Opportunity in the Twin-Cities area of Minnesota!

This Environmental Specialist position in the Environmental Initiatives Unit of the Environmental Resources Department will be responsible to assist and lead the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of landfill abatement initiatives, projects and programs. This position will be responsible for working on a variety of initiatives that support the Dakota County Solid Waste Management Plan, with a focus on implementing waste reduction, recycling and organics diversion programs, such as administering the business and multiunit property recycling programs.

We are looking to hire a new colleague to join our team and support the Green Fund program. The deadline to apply is February 4.

The Green Fund is a program of the University of Wisconsin–Madison Office of Sustainability that supports student engagement in projects that address the environmental footprint, social impact, and operating costs of campus facilities. This program contributes toward the achievement of the university’s sustainability goals, including net-zero carbon emissions by 2048 and zero waste by 2030.

Registration for the Alumni Mentor Program is currently OPEN until January 31st!

This program is open to sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students from all majors who are looking to make a lasting connection with a Bellarmine alum in their career field of interest and/or a shared affinity group. This program matches students one-on-one with a Bellarmine alum in their field of interest and may be completed in-person or virtually.

All students must attend an in-person Kick-Off Event on Wednesday, March 11th at 5:30pm in Frazier Hall immediately followed by their First Mentor Meeting (which will be in-person or virtual depending on the alumni). The student and their alum will also complete a fully virtual second meeting the week of April 13th – 17th.
