Preparing for a Career in Healthcare
Mari chose UofL because of its strong health sciences programs, welcoming campus community and opportunities for hands-on learning that align with his career goals.

Driven to Make a Difference
Mari chose Nursing because he wants to make a positive impact in people's lives. He's passionate about providing compassionate inclusive care and appreciates UofL's commitment to preparing students to serve diverse communities.

Finding Community at UofL
Through the Mentoree Program, his Living Learning Community, academic advising and campus events, Mari has found a strong support system that has helped him feel connected and confident in his college journey.

Mari's Favorite Things
From the excitement of Cardinals game days to the opportunities that come with studying in Louisville, Mari loves the balance of campus spirit and city life.

Meet Arianna Conner 👋
-Hometown: Flaherty, KY (Meade County) 📍
-High School: Meade County High School 🏫
-ULtra Transfer Advisor (Academic Advisor) 💼
-Works with: Transfer (TRF) & Elizabethtown Community and Technical College students 📚
-Education: Earned an Associate in Arts from Bluegrass Community and Technical College, and a Bachelor's in International Studies with a minor in Business from the University of Kentucky. Currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Anthropology at UofL 🎓

Arianna’s favorite thing about UofL is how deeply embedded it is within the community. She loves how collaboration between the city and the university creates a truly special environment where everyone has the student's ultimate success in mind! ❤️🖤

Her advice?
“Many of the students that I work with have a specific image of Louisville. I think that if they visit the campus, they would have a better understanding of the university's location, the commute, and the community connection. The purpose of visiting different institutions is to take in all of the information and see the different opportunities available to students.”

Favorite part of the job: ✨
-Working with a wide variety of transfer students from so many unique backgrounds.
-Helping to remove barriers to student success and guiding them to find their own perfect route.
-Meeting students who are excited about the university and helping them discover the place that fits them best."
