We’re happy to help spread the word about an upcoming Community Table session hosted by our community partner, The Coalition for the Homeless.

Child sexual abuse is preventable—when adults are informed, empowered, and proactive. This workshop centers on Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky’s "Are They Good for Your Kids?" campaign, offering practical tools, resources, and knowledge to help adults protect children in their lives and communities.

Participants will learn how to recognize grooming behaviors, understand healthy sexual development in children, and take concrete steps to create safer environments. Whether you're a parent, caregiver, educator, or community member, this session will equip you with the insight and strategies to make a lasting difference in a child’s life.

We are pleased to share the following opportunity on behalf of our community partner, Home Away from Home Therapeutic Center.

Join Them This Summer for Family Mental Health & Wellness
Home Away from Home Therapeutic Center will be offering a series of family-focused mental health and wellness events throughout the summer, centered on healing, connection, and community support.

The upcoming schedule includes:

May 9, 2026 at 12:00 PM – Caregiver Kickoff Workshop
June 2026 – Youth Wellness Workshops
July 2026 – Family Engagement Experience
August 2026 – Community Events (two events)

These events are designed to support caregivers, youth, and families through education, engagement, and accessible mental health resources.

Vendor Opportunities
Home Away from Home Therapeutic Center will offer free vendor opportunities during the August community events. Vendors are asked to provide their own table, tent (if outdoors), and chairs. Additional details and dates will be shared directly by the host.

This summer series offers families an opportunity to invest in their well-being and connect with a broader supportive community. Caregivers interested in attending are encouraged to contact Home Away from Home Therapeutic Center directly to register themselves and their youth:
