Brother of the week spotlight goes out to Andrew Schmidt! Brother Schmidt is a senior biology major and currently serves as our Scholarship Chair! Along with sustaining an exceptionally high GPA in college, he received a 520 on his MCAT (98th percentile) and recently got accepted into medical school. He has also been very active at UofL by participating in raiseRED and fryberger the past 3 years and by working as a student tutor the past 2 years. Schmidt says, "Medicine to me represents the perfect combination of applied sciences and the care of those in need. It is the opportunity to push myself to my greatest potential." We are very proud to have a compassionate brother like Schmidt.

We are very proud to have another Iron Phi in our chapter! This summer, brother Brad Esselman completed all the qualifications to become an Iron Phi in honor of brother Lou Gehrig and the LiveLikeLou Foundation! Brad is currently studying Chemical Engineering and going into his Sophomore year at U of L.
