TTU WCOE - Outreach & Engagement The WCOE outreach and engagement program at Texas Tech University aims to promote STEM for the K-12 community through hands-on learning experiences!

Over the weekend, the Tech Robotics Association and the Association of Competitive Engineers participated in a FTC Robot In 3 Days challenge where they were tasked to design, build, and program a robot that could score in the game! The FTC Ri3D teams got to try out their designs in a series of BIOBUZZ practice matches!

A winning robot was chosen to stay to be used to help guide our West Texas FTC teams and will be taken to scrimmages, family nights, and more!

We would like to highlight one of our breakout sessions that will be taking place at the FIRST Tech Challenge kickoff event happening on September 12th at Lubbock High School!

Thank you to everyone who attended our high school robotics camp! This year, students got to work on a FRC style robot start to finish and try it out using game elements from the season! We are so proud of what our students were able to accomplish!
