SkillsUSA Texas Advisors! It’s Time to LEAD!

Get ready to connect, learn, and prepare for an incredible 2026–2027 SkillsUSA Texas year at the SkillsUSA Texas LEAD Conference!

LEAD is a one-day, statewide advisor training experience built for new advisors, veteran advisors, potential advisors, and industry partners. You’ll hear important updates, connect with SkillsUSA leaders, industry partners and competition Tech Chairs. You will also get to choose five breakout sessions designed to give you practical tools you can take back to your chapter.

- Houston - October 9 | HCC East Side
- Hutto - October 16 | TSTC
- Lancaster - October 30 | Dallas College

Heads Up, Team Texas!

After an incredible week at the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference and a year filled with district events, leadership conferences, state championships, member support, and strategic planning, the SkillsUSA Texas office will observe Champions Day on Monday, June 8, 2026.

This dedicated day allows our hardworking staff the opportunity to rest, recharge, and celebrate another successful year of serving our members across Texas.

Behind every registration, competition, meeting, phone call, email, partnership, and student success story is a team committed to creating opportunities for Texas students. We are incredibly proud of what was accomplished this year and grateful for the advisors, members, volunteers, partners, and supporters who make it all possible.

🏆 Champions know that excellence requires both hard work and time to recharge.

Our office will resume normal operations on Tuesday, June 9, ready to begin preparing for another exciting year of empowering students to become world-class workers, leaders, and responsible American citizens.

More than 600 SkillsUSA Texas students from our secondary and postsecondary divisions are headed to the National Leadership & Skills Conference to represent Texas on the national stage.

After months of hard work, training, and dedication, these students are ready to showcase their skills, leadership, and passion in some of the nation's most competitive events. As they head to Atlanta, they carry with them the pride of their schools, communities, industry partners, families, and the entire SkillsUSA Texas family.

SkillsUSA Texas National Conference Town Hall

This is a must-attend session for all advisors and students planning to participate in the SkillsUSA National Leadership & Skills Conference.

Join the SkillsUSA Texas team as we walk through everything you need to know to prepare for Nationals—from registration and travel to expectations, schedules, and on-site logistics.

This Town Hall is designed to ensure you feel confident, informed, and ready to represent Texas at the national level.

Topics will include:
• National Conference registration process and deadlines
• Travel, lodging, and state coordination
• Contest expectations and required documentation
• Important schedules and key events
• State meeting requirements and communication channels
• Q&A to address your specific questions

If you are attending Nationals, this session is not optional—it is your opportunity to get clear, accurate, and up-to-date information directly from the state team.
