Last week, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center at Amarillo welcomed families, students, faculty, staff and community partners over the weekend for a free public health fair focused on improving access to health education and resources across the Panhandle. Hosted at the Northwest Texas Healthcare System J.O. Wyatt Clinic, attendees received glucose checks, blood pressure screenings, medication safety education, basic health assessments, sports physicals and healthcare packages. The event highlighted a shared commitment to improving healthcare in the community and providing access to care across the Panhandle.
