Jesus uses the Parable of the Sower to show us that the same Word can produce very different results depending on the condition of our hearts.

The Word is Jesus.

John 1:1 and John 1:14 remind us that Jesus is the Word made flesh. If we miss Jesus, we miss it all.

So the question isn’t whether the Word is being sown. The question is: What kind of soil is my heart?

The Path : A hardened heart that has become resistant to the Word.

The Rocky Soil : A shallow faith without deep roots. God can’t bless who you pretend to be.

The Thorny Soil : A heart distracted by the worries and cares of life. What kingdom is my mind on?

The Good Soil : A heart that hears the Word, accepts it, and produces fruit.

To hear and do is the way of the Kingdom.

The goal isn’t simply to hear the Word. It’s to receive it, live it, and allow Jesus to produce fruit through our lives.
So today, ask yourself: What kind of soil is my heart?

We are called to make a difference by being different.

Jesus calls us to be the salt of the earth and the light of the world. That means the way we live, speak, and love others should point people to Him.

“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” — Matthew 5:16

Being different isn’t about standing apart from people. It’s about living differently for the sake of the Gospel.

Walk in wisdom. Let your words be gracious. Serve others. Meet people where they are. And in everything, point them back to Jesus.

When Jesus becomes Lord, life changes.

College students, join us tonight at 7:30 PM at Victory Life Church in the Main Building as we continue our series, When Jesus Becomes Lord.

Come ready for worship, community, and a reminder that following Jesus changes everything. ❤️

When Jesus Becomes Lord, everything changes, including the way we love.

Last week, we looked at John 15 and Jesus’ invitation to abide in Him.

A branch can’t produce fruit apart from the vine. In the same way, we can’t truly know or give love apart from Christ.

When we abide in Jesus, His love becomes what moves us! Not obligation, not simply trying to do the “right” thing, but a genuine desire to know Him, enjoy Him, and love others as He has loved us.

What did you learn? 📖

These small groups are life changing. We meet in homes and are peer-led, creating a space to build genuine friendships and grow together in our faith.

We have all-girls, all-guys, and co-ed groups that meet throughout the week, so there’s a place for everyone!
