We are excited to once again partner with the Texas Tech Career Center and host another intern this semester through the College to Career Internship Program!
Welcome to TrUE, Felix!
Aloha! My name is Felix P. Madrid. I was born and raised in the Greater Austin area, and I proudly call Round Rock, Texas, my hometown. I am a senior at Texas Tech University pursuing a B.A.A.S. in Event Management and expect to graduate in December 2026.
As a U.S. Air Force veteran, I bring nearly 40 years of applied experience in sports, recreation, event management, operations, leadership, and community outreach. My professional interests include sports and sustainable tourism, public relations, and veterans’ advocacy. After graduation, I plan to pursue a master’s degree and ultimately teach at the college level.
