🎉🏗️ BREAKING GROUND. BUILDING FUTURES. MAKING HISTORY!

Today marks a historic milestone for Robeson Community College as we celebrated with a special Legislative Luncheon and the official groundbreaking of our new Career Technical Education Building!

This long-awaited investment will expand opportunities in Welding, HVAC, and Mechatronics, preparing students for high-demand careers and strengthening our region's workforce for generations to come.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Senator Danny Britt, House Majority Leader Brenden Jones, and Representative John Lowery for their leadership, dedication, and instrumental support in helping turn this long-awaited vision into a reality.

Today was a celebration of partnership, progress, and the power of investing in education and our community!

This exciting milestone represents a significant investment in the future of workforce education and economic development in Robeson County. The new facility will expand opportunities for students pursuing careers in high-demand technical fields while strengthening the skilled workforce that supports our local businesses and industries.

President Singler and the RCC family would be honored to have you join us as we celebrate this important step forward for our college, our students, and the community we serve.

RCC's Practical Nursing Students recently collaborated on group presentations of ECG strips with the UNC Southeastern Department of Learning and Professional Development. Their presentations are now on display at the UNC Southeastern employee Skills Check-Off.

This was a valuable learning experience. Students strengthened their rhythm interpretation skills, practiced presenting and explaining their clinical reasoning, and working as a team. They also had the chance to be recognized by one of our major clinical partners, which is an exciting milestone for students at this stage of their nursing education.

We are so proud of our Practical Nursing Class of 2026! We are proud to celebrate our students and recognize our partnership with UNC Southeastern.
