As we move deeper into the semester, students may begin feeling the pressure of assignments, exams, and preparing for the end of the year. One thing we want parents to know — your student does not have to navigate academic challenges alone. Liberty's College of Applied Studies & Academic Success (CASAS) provides resources designed to help students build confidence, develop strong habits, and reach their academic goals. Some of the resources available include: Academic Success Center — provides support through tutoring, writing services, success studies, and academic workshops. Tutoring Services — offers individual and group tutoring opportunities to help students strengthen their understanding of course material. Writing Center — helps students strengthen their writing skills and receive feedback throughout the writing process. College Success Services — provides guidance and support to help students stay on track academically.
Sometimes the strongest step a student can take is recognizing when they need support and knowing where to find it.

Routines feel new, responsibilities are increasing, and independence is becoming more real each day. Pursuing courage in this season means choosing to stay steady even when things feel unfamiliar. It’s learning that growth doesn’t always feel comfortable, but it is always meaningful. Encourage your student this week with this reminder: you are stronger than this moment, and what feels challenging today is shaping who you are becoming tomorrow. Lord Jesus, clothe my student with compassion, kindness, humility, and gentleness. In the early weeks of adjustment, when emotions are high and expectations are new, help them extend grace to others and receive grace for themselves. Bind their community together in a love that reflects You. Amen.
