These photos are from the final day of a semester long exercise that involved students from the school of engineering and computational science, the strategic intelligence club, the linguist club, and criminal justice club. The final day surrounded a SDR and an intercepted drop. Good job everyone!! Can't wait for next year's exercise and hope to see you there!

Members, you are invited to participate in Operation IGI, an eight-day event that will uncover and enhance the abilities of aspiring analysts. The operation will be focused on intelligence gathering and the usage of intelligence gathering for the purpose of creating a network or profile. Information gathering by the participants will be strictly monitored and assessed by the officials appointed by the facilitators of the project. No information will be distributed in order to protect those involved. This is a unique opportunity not offered at undergraduate institutions and has been reviewed by intelligence professionals. Please respond by midnight on 2 April, 2015 if interested. Hope to see you there!

The SIS and the School of Psychology will be hosting Adam Lankford this Friday, February 7th at 7:00 PM in Demoss 4040. Dr. Lankford has contributed ground breaking research on what drives su***de bombers, rampage shooters, and other self destructive killers, and is now considered the most prevalent expert on the topic. The event is an approved Psychology activity, light refreshments will be served, and a question and answer session held. Come discover the mindset behind many of America's greatest enemies and one of their deadliest tactics.

The SIS will be hosting Peter Probst, 30 year veteran of CIA counter terrorism office, this coming Monday (the 14th) in the roundtable at 7:00 PM. Mr. Probst will be lecturing on radical islamic terror cells within the United States and the efficiency of US counter terrorism efforts. We hope you can make it, light refreshments will be provided.
