Together, these statistics tell the reality faced by many autistic students. Autistic individuals are part of our classrooms, communities, and workplaces, yet many face barriers to graduating from college and finding meaningful employment that others may never see.

Understanding these statistics helps us ask better questions about how campuses, communities, and workplaces can intentionally create spaces where neurodivergent individuals thrive. These statistics tell a bigger story about the importance of belonging, opportunities, support systems, and ultimately acceptance.
