Sometimes our brain falls into the trap that hard things = can’t do. When we are in this trap, we might find ourselves trying to avoid the challenge before us, we might procrastinate getting started, and we might use a lot of self defeating language. Avoiding hard things means that we might miss out on something truly wonderful and it also means that we might miss out on the opportunity to learn new skills and grow. So how do we get out of this trap? One way is to tell your brain that you CAN do hard things. Even if it takes a while, even if you have to restart or ask for help. Remind your brain that you are capable, even when things are hard.

Seeking support early on can actually help things from getting worse and can help you get back to your life and your values more quickly. Caitlin utilizes a person centered approach to address concerns such as substance use, anxiety, trauma, depression, grief and loss, and identity concerns. She is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. She takes most insurances and her self pay rate is only $60. Please welcome Morgan Grow, licensed Resident in Counseling to our Timberlake location! Morgan believes in working collaboratively with her clients and creating a compassionate space to work toward your goals. Morgan can provide faith-based counseling and also focuses on trauma, relationship distress, self identity, and depression. In addition, she can provide premarital counseling. Morgan can accept a variety of insurances and her self pay rate is only $60. Morgan is available Monday- Wednesdays from 9 am to 4 pm.
