Non-consensual sexual intercourse, non-consensual sexual contact, sexual exploitation, sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence, and stalking are all prohibited at Liberty Univ

ersity. Sex-Based Misconduct Offense categories include, but are not limited to,
- Sexual Harassment; Sexual Exploitation
- Non-Consensual Sexual Contact (or attempts to commit same)
- Non-Consensual Sexual Intercourse (or attempts to commit same)

Other Misconduct Offenses when based on sex or gender include, but are not limited to,
- Bullying
- Domestic Violence
- Dating Violence
- Stalking

In acknowledgement of Bystander Intervention
Awareness Month, here are the 5 D’s:

Direct: Speak up and address the situation directly

Distract: Interrupt or redirect the situation subtly

Delegate: Get help from RAs, LUPD, faculty, or another
trusted person.

Delay: Check in after the situation if immediate
intervention isn’t safe.

Document: Safely document what you have witnessed,
then report.

When you walk by, don’t just stand by. Speaking up and reporting can make all the difference.
