Sigma Nu at The University of Lynchburg

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 2026!:
Graduating this week is our very own Frances Stoltz, and we decided to take this beautiful Sunday afternoon to reflect upon the impact he has had on the Mu Chi chapter!

You could often find him working on lighting, sound, and set production for the dozens of U of L theater and APO productions over the last 4 years, and its obvious that his hard work in that field paid off every time! Outside of the theater, Frances is always busy working on art projects such as ceramics or printmaking!

He is the glue that brought and held the Mu Chi chapter together, and his impact as a SNU will be felt for years to come.
Frances is an extremely talented artist, valued Sigma Nu brother, and a deeply appreciated friend!
We are going to miss him, but we are so excited to see him do amazing things in life!

We hope to see Frances and Brock at next semester's homecoming as new Mu Chi alumni! We love you guys!

SENIOR SPOTLIGHT 2026!
Our very own Brock Jones is graduating very soon, and we thought it would be nice to reflect upon how amazing of a SNU brother he is!

Brock has worked tirelessly to ensure the Mu Chi chapter is the best it can be, and he has brought us all together on many occasions!
He is an extremely talented musician, a funny guy, and the rock that makes up the chapter's foundation!

We love you, Brock! You are a great Knight of Sigma Nu!

New Member Spotlight!:

Yesterday, the 19th, we finally had the pleasure of initiating two amazing new members!
Aszter Hitchcock (Class of '29) is a Freshman here at the University of Lynchburg is an extremely talented Studio Art major involved with the Bonner Program and art showcases on campus! He is this rush class president!
Evan Ellinger (Class of '28) is a Sophomore here at the University of Lynchburg and is very bright Business major working towards a minor in Marketing and Finance as well!
We are so excited to have these two as brothers at Sig Nu!

Sigma Nu Alumni Spotlight!:
As some of Earth's brightest minds return home from the dark side of the moon today, we thought it'd be cool to look back at some Sigma Nu - NASA history! Did you know that one of the last people to orbit our lunar surface was a SNU? Well its a fact!
Ronald Evans of the Nv chapter at the University of Kansas was the on the Apollo 17 "Prime Crew" as the command module pilot. This makes him one of the last people to orbit the moon before the very recent Artemis 2 mission. He also completed a one-hour, five-minute, 44-second extravehicular activity (space walk) while aboard the command module; which is awesome.
He brought Love, Truth, and Honor to the stars, and is an Alumni we can all look up to (almost literally).

This week at SNU!

This week was great! We started off strong with a fun Brotherhood hiking retreat to "Sharp Top Mountain;" complete with ice cream at the end as a treat!
We ended the week off even stronger with some country karaoke with Sig Ep, and hanging out at the "Fridays of the Dell" campus event made even better by an awesome guest appearance from the amazing Dell the Hornet!

Thank you to everybody who makes Lynchburg campus life as fun as it is, and we'll see you all around!
