The Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College summer camp is BACK!

Participants spend a week going behind the scenes at museums and historic sites across Lynchburg, meeting museum professionals, exploring collections, and creating hands-on projects.

NEW this year:
✨ Rising 7th and 8th graders can now apply
✨ One camper will earn a special internship opportunity with Amazement Square
✨ Application deadline extended to June 1

Lee Martin ’26 has loved storytelling since childhood. Now, the Randolph film and video graduate is building a future behind the camera. 🎥

Martin’s journey culminated with the creation of a documentary short, supported by a Randolph Innovative Student Experience, or RISE, grant.

After professor M Stang approached Ren Hicks ’28 about participating in Randolph’s Summer Research Program, Hicks immediately got to work: “I actually almost overheated my old computer because I had so many tabs open trying to do research."

The subject of her searching: sustainable exhibition practices that could be implemented at the Maier Museum of Art at Randolph College.
