Edmonds College Our 50-acre campus is located 20 miles north of Seattle in the city of Lynnwood, Washington.

Edmonds College offers more than 120 degrees and certificates, diverse leadership and service opportunities, instructors who know you by name, and on-campus housing, all at an affordable price. A tape dispenser rests on the counter next to a stack of empty cardboard boxes. Today the Pantry isn't prepping for a food drive. They are preparing for a new chapter!

In a few weeks, the team moves to Snoqualmie Hall while the Edmonds College Foundation SAFE Harbor campaign funds a complete renovation of Olympic Building.
What’s coming:

Commercial cold storage for fresh produce, dairy, and meat
Tripled space to serve more students faster
Full ADA accessibility with a new stair lift
A dedicated loading ramp for bulk deliveries
On-site advocates for SNAP and housing support

It took four seconds to name a host country for the World Cup. The fallout lasted years.

By morning, the story wasn't about soccer anymore. It was about labor, migration, and who profits when the world watches.

The pattern doesn't stop there. A player at a podium negotiating pay becomes national news. An athlete kneeling during an anthem becomes headline news. Sports and politics keep ending up in the same sentence, whether anyone intended that or not.

Fun fact: 🍋 The lemon balm tea didn't come from a store. It was grown on our campus farm!

It's a true full-circle moment: plants grown with care by our Horticulture Department, picked by student leaders in CSEL, and served right back to you.

It is the ultimate multi-use space. It’s equal parts outdoor classroom, community garden, apiary, and movie set (yes, we have watched the Video Production Club in action out here) bringing together everyone on campus together.

The dirt is fine and dry. It clings to knees and forearms, and the bristles of tiny brushes clearing soil off treasures that have waited a century to be found.

For the second year, Edmonds College students spent their summer digging at Japanese Gulch in Mukilteo, uncovering the site of a former mill town from the early 1900s.

Then they hit glass. A blue medicine bottle inscribed in Japanese, traced back to a specific pharmacy in Tokyo. Then came toys, perfume bottles, a harmonica, part of a bike tire, and dozens of ceramic pieces. Proof that whole families, not just laborers, once called this place home.

This is one of only a few archaeological field schools in the Pacific Northwest, and every item these students find helps piece together a story that was almost lost.

"The best advice I got at Edmonds College didn't come from a syllabus. It came from the team standing behind me during my hardest week."

All week, Lika has shared her journey at Edmonds College. Today she's handing it over to the people who were behind her every step of the way, stressing over finals together and celebrating every win: our Outreach team.

No matter who you are, the one piece of advice they give every student is this:
Find your people.

College isn't just credits and exams. It's the network you build along the way, and it's easier than most people think.

Start small: Grab a table at Triton Espresso and start a study group.

Show up: Catch a show at the Black Box Theatre, join a club, or hit a campus event.

Explore electives: Take a class outside your major to pick up a skill and meet people who share it.

Take a tour: Even after you've enrolled, it's a great way to find out where everything is, learn about services, and feel more comfortable finding your community.

A .557 batting average with29 home runs, 108 runs batted in, and 83 runs scored in 44 games played.

Scarlette Chapman brought the heat in 2026 right here at Edmonds College, earning North Region MVP honors, and proving what happens when talent is backed by pure discipline and commitment.

Her incredible season caught the eye of legendary Washington Huskies coach Heather Tarr, who saw her as the missing piece needed to strengthen their lineup. Now, Scarlette's taking the next step in her journey to join the Big Ten program as they look to return to the College Softball World Series.

The Complete the Dream Scholarship is now open!

"Lika!" someone calls from across the courtyard.

She smiles, stops to catch up, then takes a few more steps before it happens again. Every conversation matters. She knows a simple hello can make someone feel like they belong.
That’s what makes Lika Rukhadze’s Edmonds College story so special. College wasn’t just about earning a degree. It was about finding community, exploring her passions, and discovering what she was capable of along the way.

As a Communications student, Lika will be the first to tell you she didn’t have every step planned out. Instead, she said yes to opportunities and learned by doing.

She welcomed future students as a Triton Ambassador in Outreach, started the Debate and Art Club, volunteered, exhibited her artwork, translated for TEDx, helped her team take first place at the Edmonds College Hackathon, and got to go behind the scenes in Marketing because she started asking questions.

Lika graduated in June and is now pursuing her bachelor’s degree in Communications. This week, she’s taking over our Instagram and Facebook Stories to share the lessons she learned about finding your path in college.

The lion's head dipped low, then snapped up toward the crowd. Minutes before, the Yolihuani Aztec Dancers swirled across the dance floor, feathers catching the light, drums picking up the pace until the whole room was clapping along.

On the other side of the room, lines stretched past tables loaded with home-cooked dishes from eleven different kitchens. Tamales next to Vietnamese egg rolls next to Micronesian desserts.

It was all part of the World Refugee Day celebration. Afternoons like this matter. It gives hard-working families a chance to come together over a plate of food, share their culture, and build real roots. No big speeches required, just Edmonds' neighbors showing up for one another.

You can't plan a moment like that. You just build a place where it gets to happen.
