Women changing communities and ourselves, one Belle at a time throughout the South. In 2016 on the sixteen of July, one woman had a dream to create a sisterly bond like none other who would serve their community faithfully. Brown in the "Heart of Georgia", brought into fruition Gamma Pi Chi on October 22, 2016. A Southern Belle sisterhood who is committed to offer an alternative to standard Greek

sorority life with the help of charter member, L. Walker. Our sorority seeks to challenge the norms and establish a true sisterhood that promotes the ideals of S A.S.S .Our sisters will dedicate their time to charitable endeavors & volunteerism in the local community while actively demonstrating a harmonious sisterhood.

Today we celebrate the woman who turned a vision into a sisterhood.

Kennecia, you saw a need for sanctuary for women to bond and grow and created Gamma Pi Chi Social Service Sorority for all of us. Because of you, we’re Belles for Life — serving our communities, lifting each other up, and making memories we’ll never forget.

Juneteenth, also known as Freedom Day, Juneteenth Independence Day, or Emancipation Day, honors the official end of slavery in the U.S. It was birthed out of hardship and struggle and then made into something beautiful and jubilant, which is basically the thesis of the entire African American culture. Happy Juneteenth Weekend!!

This Memorial Day, Gamma Pi Chi Social Service Sorority pauses to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their courage, sacrifice, and commitment reminds us what true service looks like. As an organization founded on service, we hold their memory close today and every day.
