Join us Oct 14th at 6PM at the Leadership Lab for the kick off event in our Women's Health Series!

As part of the Leadership Lab’s Women’s Health Series, join us October 14 at 6 PM for Leading with Heart: A Conversation on Breast Cancer Crisis and Care.

Moderated by Cyndey Busbee, Vice President of Governance and Organizational Affairs for the Georgia Area of Atrium Health, the panel will bring together Laura Paxton, co-founder and executive director of United in Pink; Morgan Adams, FNP-C, nurse practitioner at The Look Shop; and Taylor W. McLendon, MD, of Renaissance Plastic Surgery.

Together, they’ll bring different perspectives to an important conversation about breast cancer, care and the support women need along the way.

Today, in partnership with Visit Macon and Greater Macon Chamber of Commerce we were excited to welcome members of Leadership Albany to the Leadership Lab for a Higher Education Panel!

As part of their experience, Leadership Albany participants have been visiting businesses and organizations throughout Macon and Middle Georgia with the goal of experiencing our community, building relationships, and creating connections that extend well beyond their visit.

Wesleyan’s Erin Bowler joined the panel and shared valuable insight into the success and growth of our Career Development program, as well as the impact Wesleyan College has on our students and the broader community.

Erin was joined by representatives from Central Georgia Technical College, Middle Georgia State University, and Mercer University for an engaging conversation about the role higher education plays in shaping the future of Middle Georgia.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to connect, collaborate, and showcase the impact higher education has across our community!
