Located in the Connell Student Center lobby, the Center for Leadership and Volunteerism serves as a clearinghouse for volunteer services at Mercer. The CLV plans a variety of service events every semester in addition to maintaining a full list of community partners and working to match students and student organizations with local volunteer opportunities. To do this, the Center hosts a volunteer f

air every fall and works with interested students one-on-one to find a best fit. The Center also places interested students, including work-study students, in tutoring positions in Bibb County through the America Reads/America Counts program. The Center for Leadership and Volunteerism works to support Mercer's student-led service organizations as well.
