Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Wesleyan College is now enrolling students who plan to enter the new Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. Junior-level nursing courses will begin in fall 2013, but students can begin pre-nursing courses fall semester 2012. The College received approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing in November 2011 to develop the BSN program and is on target to obtain f

ull approval and accrediation for the program from the Georgia Board of Nursing, American Association of Colleges of Nursing/Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools/Commission on Colleges. Dr. Judy Wright Lott, DSN, NNP-BC, FAAN, has been named founding Dean of Nursing. She brings over thirty-five years of experience as a nurse, educator, nurse practitioner practice director, researcher, and university dean to Wesleyan’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program. Most recently, Dr. Lott served as Dean of the Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing.
