UW Department of Geoscience in Week's Hall is the campus headquarters for geology and geophysics. The department runs a lecture series on Friday afternoons, check the schedule for the next lecture!

Today we are celebrating the Geology Library.
As many of you may be aware, the CK Leith Geology and Geophysics Library collection – the books, maps, and journals – is being moved to Steenbock Library.

The Library space remains open to Weeks denizens and the greater campus community for study, group work, and for TA office hours.

While we develop a long-term plan for the Library space, our goal in this first year is to endow and grow the Library Fund to help pay for the redevelopment.
