UW Health School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography

UW Health School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Graduates of the program are eligible for certification prior to graduation through the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).

The UW Health School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography is a 22 month, full-time, hospital-based program focused on two tracks to select: General/Vascular Sonography or Echo/Vascular Sonography. The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography is a 22 month, full-time, dedicated hospital-based clinical training program sponsored by UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin. The school holds formal affiliation agre

ements with multiple colleges and universities to provide professional study in the art and science of diagnostic ultrasound to the baccalaureate of science candidates from those institutions.

Our program is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP). Students complete their prerequisite course work with one of our affiliates, and their professional education at UW Health. The School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography offers professional training in two specializations. Both programs include training in vascular ultrasound.

😊The biggest lesson I’ve learned is that it’s okay to make mistakes, because that is how you learn and become better.
🙌Shoutout: I want to say thank you to my friends and family for supporting me over the last few years through this program. I also want to thank the teachers for being patient and helping us learn so much.
