Sabrina Kabakov, an occupational therapist and doctoral student in the Kinesiology Department, has dedicated her budding career to researching the experiences of patients diagnosed with Down Syndrome and cancer. Her work aims to improve long-term outcomes and quality of life for families and children, and thanks to a recent grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), her research will continue for years to come.

A new course in the Department of Theatre and Drama is bridging the worlds of art and science! Titled “Performance in Practice,” the class recently produced student-led plays that explored the effects of climate change.
